Seasonality is the basic ethos of our menu development and food preparation. We use 'seasonal' because it ensures the food is fresh, has not been flown across the globe and is all part of the West Country food production economy. It also means that the ingredients are full of flavour and do not require elaborate processes to create a really tasty meal. Our 'Specials Board' is updated daily and features the freshest fish direct from Brixham Harbour on the south Devon coast. The fish are delivered daily and we order just what we expect to use that day so if you do arrive late your favourite may have been taken off the list. Don't forget we also use lots of locally grown, beef, pork, lamb and chicken together with regional vegetables for vegetarian appetites.
